Yikun Bai is currently a postdoctoral research assistant at the Machine Intelligence and Neural Technologies (MINT) Lab at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Delaware, in 2021. Before that, Yikun received his M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia, in 2016, and his B.Sc. degree in Medical Imaging from Mudanjiang Medical University, China, in 2012. His research interests include computational optimal transport and its potential applications in machine learning.
